Minichamps Yamaha YZR-M1 - 2021 Valencia MotoGP - Last Race Special - #46 V. Rossi 1:12 Product Information
Minichamps 1:12 diecast model of the #46 Yamaha YZR-M1 as ridden by Valentino Rossi in his very last MotoGP race, in Valencia in 2021. There are few sports personalities that have owned any sport in the way that The Doctor did. He amassed a greater fanbase than MotoGP itself, with the championship now missing his presence greatly. With nine world championships under his belt, including seven in the premier class, Vale duly deserved his oft-used nickname of the goat (greatest of all time). He may have gone the final four seasons of his career without a race win, but that’s only because he loved motorbike racing so much that he couldn’t bear to walk away from it. You don’t get many MotoGP riders racing into their 40s. Rossi moved across to the satellite Petronas Yamaha team for his farewell tour. He only troubled the top 10 on four occasions, but fittingly one of those occurrences was in his very last MotoGP race, where he drove out of his skin to take the chequered flag in 10th position.
