Acceptance of order - our contract
When you place an order on our website, you will view an order confirmation page and receive an order confirmation email from Grand Prix Legends. This page and email confirm receipt of your order and its details, they do not form a contract to a sale at this point. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product/products, which is accepted by us at the point when we debit your card and despatch the goods to you.
When you place an order on our website please make sure that your Account address is the address your credit/debit card is registered to. Your card authorisation process is checked against your Account address and if it is not correct your card will be declined and your order delayed until we receive the correct details from you. To prevent fraud, delivery to an alternative address is possible on 1st orders but delays may occur while extra security checks are carried out. We reserve the right to only send first orders to the registered payment card address. To help combat fraud we may select your order for further fraud screening. This may involve making a small charge to your card and then asking you the card holder to tell us how much that charge was for in order to prove that you have full control over the account. The amount taken will be deducted from your order total ensuring you will never pay any more.
Try as we might, there may be occasions when a product will be mispriced on our website. Please be assured that we verify prices as part of our despatch procedure. If a product's correct price is lower than advertised on our site you will be charged the lower price. With pre-order models you will be charged the correct retail price for the item when it is released. If a product's correct price is higher than advertised on our site, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before despatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Pricing for overseas customers
All products shipped to overseas customers (excluding those from the EU) are VAT free and as such, the price stated on our website is that of the product only.
We offer three delivery services for UK mainland addresses so that you can choose the most suitable service for your needs.
Our standard service for UK orders is a 3-5 working day service. We offer the option to upgrade your delivery to a 2 working day or a next working day service. Deliveries can be dependant on our friendly courier drivers and postal workers. A dispatch email is sent when parcels leave our warehouse.
European and Worldwide delivery can take up to 14 days after being dispatched and are subject to customs clearance.
Please note, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses overseas.
If there is going to be a delay for any reason we will let you know. All quoted delivery times are based on standard working days i.e. Mon - Fri (excluding public holidays etc).
Most of our items are in stock awaiting dispatch unless a pre-order message is shown below the items description.

All 'In Stock' orders that are received before 1pm, should be dispatched from our warehouse the same day via Royal Mail or other couriers such as City Link (UK only), subject to security checks and payment clearances.
When ordering mail-order goods from Motolegends for delivery anywhere overseas (including Europe), you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse the delivery then you will be responsible for the full costs of sending and returning of the parcel to us.
Postage and packaging
The cost of postage and packing for items ordered is displayed automatically in your basket during the order process. You will have the option to upgrade to faster delivery services for UK mainland addresses when you checkout. Here is a breakdown of the delivery options available.

For European deliveries we calculate the postage and packaging rates per item ordered.
£10 for the first item and £5 per additional item ordered.
Due to higher shipping rates, all orders to the CHANNEL ISLANDS will be charged at the EU rate. Your shipping charge may be altered manually to represent this.
For overseas deliveries outside of Europe we calculate the postage and packaging rates per item ordered.
£20 for the first item and £10 per additional item ordered.
Please note some bulky items may trigger an additional charge to send to destinations overseas outside of Europe. This will be confirmed at time of purchase.
We only charge you delivery once per order, even if we send you more than one parcel. (The full delivery charge is charged on the first parcel dispatched)
We accept most major credit and debit cards and we only process payment when an order is ready to be dispatched. Please note, if you are paying with credit/debit cards we will obtain an initial authorisation code on receipt of your order if the item you ordered is not in stock.

Whenever you shop with us at Grand Prix Legends, we want you to know you’re not only receiving high quality product and a great service but also good value.
We try to set competitive prices. However, if you find something at a cheaper price, we’ll not only match it but reduce it by a further £1. If you have already placed your order, and subsequently find it cheaper elsewhere, we’ll credit you the difference plus £1 (up to seven days after dispatch).
We try and ensure we remain competitive with all other retailers but cannot monitor prices of all our items on a daily basis due to the number of different products we sell.

Terms and conditions
- We can only price beat against buy it now prices, from registered business sellers, on eBay or other marketplace type websites. We do not price beat auction or current bid prices. Neither can we beat any overseas sellers, sellers selling out of stock products, or prices from out of date literature. Finally, we cannot offer the lowest price guarantee on pre-orders. We will price match as soon as items are released but we cannot confirm other vendors’ prices until the item is actually in stock or available.
- Lowest price guarantee is applied to the total order - The product and the delivery charge.For example if a UK retailer is selling a model car for £25 with free delivery. We will ship the car to you for £24 including delivery..

Videos and DVDs
The VHS videotapes we sell are aimed at the UK market, and have been recorded in PAL format (Phase Alternation Line). This means that the tape will not be compatible with either NTSC, or SECAM players. Please check carefully with your VHS guide to ensure that it is capable of playing PAL format videotape, before making a purchase.
The DVDs we sell are primarily created using the PAL formatting system, and are region code free (also known as region 0). However, a selection of our DVDs are made from footage that was recorded using the NTSC formatting system, or have been given a specific region code. If you are purchasing a DVD that has been recorded using the PAL formatting system, you will experience a loss of picture quality if you play it on an NTSC machine, and vice-versa. If you purchase a DVD that has been given a Region Code of 2, then it will not work at all on a machine outside of that Region. You should find the information regarding the technical aspects of a specific disc within the copy of that product.

Please check carefully to ensure that the DVD you are interested in is compatible with your player, before making a purchase. Use of images and product copy
The images and copy which appear in our catalogues and on our website are the copyright of Grand Prix Legends. They may not be used, copied or reproduced in any form whatsoever without our express written permission. We do allow our images to be used copyright free at a cost of £60 per image. Should these images be used without permission, we reserve the right to increase the charge to £100. Any enquiries please email email@example.com.
Frames are not included unless stated in the product description.
We automatically send out our own catalogues to all our customers. If you would like to stop receiving catalogues please write to us at the address above or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If however, you would like to receive our catalogues please email Customer Services as above or enter your details online.
We have taken as much care as possible to describe and portray items accurately. Slight variations in actual goods or colour may occur. We reserve the right to inform the customer of any incorrect information before payment is taken.
Credit Card Chargebacks
When you contact your credit card company to report a transaction as unknown or not authorised – this is known as a “chargeback”.
The name that will appear on your statement for any credit card transaction made with us will be Grand Prix Legends. It is very important you do not contact your credit card company and report this transaction as unknown to you if the order has been delivered and signed for. If you feel there is a problem with your order you must contact us in writing (letter or email) to resolve the problem. Cancelling the transaction with your credit card company will be considered theft or fraud and your details will be passed to the relevant authority for further investigation. This may result in us making a claim against you and could damage your credit rating.
If a transaction is charged back to you and proof of delivery is available, we reserve the right to either:
A) Re-charge the credit card you used to make the payment for the full amount, plus an additional £30 to cover our administration costs.
B) Issue a claim via the appropriate legal service – This may affect your credit rating and leave CCJ’s against you.
If you request a chargeback after a refund has been issued, you will be liable for a charge of £30 to cover our administration costs and any charges made to us. Credit card protection regulations ensure your account is automatically credited when a chargeback is issued, If a refund has already been made, a further chargeback will be considered theft or fraud and appropriate legal action may be taken against you.
