Signed Toro Rosso STR3 - 1st Italian Grand Prix 2008 - #15 S. Vettel 1:18
Sebastian Vettel is giving F1 drivers a bad name. He is approachable, a pleasure to deal with, and willing to give something back to his fans! Which is why we were delighted, but not surprised, when he agreed to sign a limited edition of 500 examples of Minichamps’ 1:18 ‘First Win’ special exclusively for us. The car is the Toro Rosso from the 2008 Italian Grand Prix, when he became the youngest F1 race winner of all time. This Toro Rosso is one of the most significant Grand Prix cars of the modern era.

Sebastian Vettel is giving F1 drivers a bad name. He is approachable, a pleasure to deal with, and willing to give something back to his fans!
Which is why we were delighted, but not surprised, when he agreed to sign a limited edition of 500 examples of Minichamps’ recently announced 1:18 ‘First Win Special’ exclusively for us. The car is from the 2008 Italian Grand Prix, when he became the youngest F1 race winner of all time.
The replica itself will be the first in a new range of toolings from Minichamps, coming without working steering to keep the price down. But, frankly, diecast replicas never have been intended for playing with, so who cares if you can turn the wheels or not?
We hope to see the replica released by the end of the summer, at which point we will track young Sebastian down to sign it for us.
