Minichamps Williams FW14B 'Dirty Version' - 1992 Formula One World Champion - #5 N. Mansell 1:43 Product Information
Minichamps 1:43 diecast model of the #5 Williams FW14B as driven to victory by Nigel Mansell in the 1992 Formula One World Championship. Mansell finally secured his place in history as a Formula One world champion in 1992, having come close in 1986, 1987 and 1991. With the mighty Williams FW14B at his disposal, he left no-one in any doubt as to the destiny of the 1992 crown. He won the first five races of the year, a record that has remained unbeaten to this day (and only been equalled once). He then took a further hat-trick of wins across the middle of the season, so that a second place finish in Hungary was enough to confirm him as world champion with five races remaining. Even after retiring from three of the final four races of the year, he still ended the campaign with a massive 52 point advantage over team-mate Riccardo Patrese (in the days when a race win was only worth 10 points). Replica features a 'dirty' race-aged finish, and comes presented in Minichamps' World Champions Collection packaging.
