This limited edition Hanhart chronograph watch was a favourite with German pilots in the 1930s. Known for its accuracy and reliability it became an indispensable tool for professional flyers and was standard issue for German fighter pilots during the war. This style of strap was very popular in the 1960s and McQueen has been pictured wearing his Hanhart in this configuration.
