Koenigsegg CCX 2006 - Black 1:18
AUTOart’s Koenigsegg CCX is, as you would expect, a totally faithful replica. It features the unique vertically-opening doors and the removable roof which can be stowed under the front bonnet, as on the real car. Under the bonnet and boot lids, as well as in the cockpit, you get similar attention to detail with a lot of carbon-fibre effect trim and nice touches like proper webbed seat belts. One nice touch with this replica is that in the box there’s a booklet all about the CCX, complete with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. The bottom line here is that if you’re a supercar fan and love cars like the Enzo, the Veyron and the Reventon, you’re not going to be disappointed with the Koenigsegg.

great model of a fantasick car, a little on the expensive side but if you love the ccx you wont be botherd, just watch out with the roof its hard to attach without breaking it

Not as good as the Veyron in terms of overall detail. Definately not a 1 star model though. Perhaps overpriced although cleverly designed with acurate doors and removeable roof, even if they are fiddly.

I agree with Jason, the interior could be much better. Overpriced.
Gerald

very light and low detail levels for an expensive model, not a patch on the veyron

Koenigsegg is a Swedish word for ‘knife’s edge’. It’s also a company which makes some of the fastest cars in the world.
AUTOart announced this project two years ago, and we photographed a sample at Nuremberg back in February last year. Since then, however, AUTOart has upgraded the CCX to its top-of-the-range Signature collection, sending the price up from £64.99, as first advertised, to £114.99. A short time ago, they announced another price rise on top of that, taking the r.r.p. up to £139.99!
AUTOart originally stated that we would see all three colourways by the end of March. We said we would love it if this were true. At the time of going to press we are still waiting to see just one version released!
