Triumph Great Escape Steve McQueen 1:12

Minichamps has released a 1:12 of the Triumph used by Steve McQueen in the film 'The Great Escape', which we expect to see released in the next few days. The film's climax contains probably the most iconic motorcycle sequence in movie history. Many assume that the bike was a BMW, but in fact it was a disguised Triumph TR6, with some modifications. This quality diecast replica comes courtesy of Minichamps, and measures approximately 7 inches in length. Please note that the German miltary blue colour shown here is the correct colour, and that the photos we had used previously of a greener bike were of a pre-production sample, the colour of which was not wholly accurate.
