Ducati Desmosedici GP9 - 2009 - #27 C. Stoner 1:12

Minichamps has just released its 1:12 replicas of the 2009 Ducati Desmosedicis of Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden (PO90069). The exciting thing about these models is that they are Minichamps’ first Moto GP bikes to feature the tail-mounted on-board camera! Stoner started the 2009 season well, winning the opener in Qatar for the third year in succession. He also won in Mugello before missing three races to figure out the reason behind his fatigue illness, which turned out to be lactose intolerance. Stoner was on fire on his return to the championship. A second place at Estoril preceded two wins in Phillip Island and Sepang, before he embarrassingly fell on the warm-up lap at the season finale in Valencia. Despite all those dramas he still placed fourth in the standings. Hayden didn’t have a great first season for Ducati, a third place at Indianapolis his highlight of the year. Both bikes are now in stock.
