Minichamps has released a 1:12 figurine of Valentino Rossi from the 2009 Portuguese MotoGP at Estoril. Valentino Rossi’s traditional annual one-off colour scheme appeared quite late in the season in 2009, at the Estoril Moto GP. His Yamaha YZR-M1 had a special white and silver livery that was created to help publicise the new Fiat Punto Evo. His leathers, of course, matched the colour scheme. This Minichamps 1:12 Valentino Rossi Estoril figure replicates Vale leaning into a corner, so it will look great on the 1:12 Yamaha YZR-M1 model! Instructions to fit figure: 1. Steer bike to the right. 2. Position figure’s right hand around right handlebar only (not lever), with figure leant forward so that head is above screen. 3. Keeping figure leant forward, steer bike to the left. 4. Position figure’s left hand so that forefinger reaches across lever and rest of hand goes around handlebar. 5. Steer bike back to the right. 6. Sit figure down onto saddle. 7. Lean bike and figure onto figure’s right knee to replicate cornering effect. This is a very tight fit so to remove figure from bike these instructions have to be carefully reversed.
