Williams FW30 - Barcelona 2nd Test 2008 - #7 N. Rosberg 1:43

A couple of years ago, the Williams F1 team celebrated its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this, Williams produced five special testing liveries. And, Minichamps has replicated all five in 1:43. One car is emblazoned with signatures from all seven of Williams’ champion drivers (DC28407T2). These are of course: Jones, Rosberg, Piquet, Mansell, Prost, Hill and Villeneuve. There is also a car which features the teams’ statistics; the number of race wins, championships won, races entered, etc (DC28408T3). A particularly nice livery features thank you messages to friends, families and fans (DC28407T4). The other two are a little bit more obscure. One car, very subtly, features the old 70s Williams Racing logo (DC28408T2), while the other has a kind of “tailors’ cut” pattern around the car. We are unsure about the significance of this pattern, but if anyone does know, we would love to hear from you. These five Minichamps 1:43 Williams test car models are a great celebration of a team that we hope will be around for another 30 years.
