Signed Ferrari 156 Phil Hill 1961 1:20
At Nuremberg we came across these fantastic hand built 1/20 scale kits from Revival. The attention to detail is mind-boggling. This is Phil Hill's 1961 Ferrari 156 with which he won the World Championship, and we are delighted to say that we also got the man himself to sign the plaque on which this model is mounted.

We are delighted to be able to offer Revival’s 1:20 replica of the famous Ferrari ‘Sharknose’ 156, signed by its 1961 World Champion driver, Phil Hill.
1961 was a triumphant yet tragic season for Ferrari. The team won five of the seven races, and going into the penultimate race at Monza Phil Hill and team-mate Wolfgang von Trips were locked together in battle for the championship.
But von Trips and Jim Clark made contact on the second lap, leading to a massive accident which saw von Trips and 14 spectators killed. Phil Hill won the race and although that gave him the championship he was devastated to have clinched it in the worst possible circumstances.
Only very few of you, we suspect, will have heard of the Revival brand name. Until now, they’ve only offered their superb models as 1:20 metal kits. We’re not talking Airfix, or even Revell, here. Revival is into highly detailed metal pieces for the most discerning model makers in the world. But before you get too excited, we must be clear about one thing; these hand-built masterpieces are not cheap.
They are craftsman built pieces of true museum quality. We’re pretty sure you won’t find many other people in the UK offering them, but to make the proposition even more special we are, initially, only going to offer Revival’s models as signed limited editions.
We are kicking off with the 1961 World Championship winning Ferrari 156 Sharknose of Phil Hill. The car measures some 8” (21cm) in length and comes presented on a leather base, on to which is positioned an aluminium plaque signed by the 1961 World Champion. A display case is also provided. It is limited to just 100 examples worldwide. Really, it doesn’t get more limited or exclusive than this. The cost is £399.99.
