Lotus 79 - 1979 Paul Ricard Test - N. Mansell 1:43

Minichamps has released a 1:43 diecast model of the Lotus 79 that Nigel Mansell drove in his first Formula 1 test at Paul Ricard in 1979. And it didn’t take long for the young lad from Worcestershire to impress Colin Chapman. After another test at Silverstone, in which he set the fastest time around the circuit for a Lotus car, Nigel was given a trio of F1 starts in 1980.
