Minichamps has released a 1:43 diecast model of Robert Kubica's BMW F1.08 which gave him his first grand prix victory at Canada in 2008. It is a limited edition of just 4,824 pieces worldwide.

Minichamps is releasing plenty of ‘First Win’ specials this year, and the next one due is Robert Kubica’s BMW from the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix at Montreal.
There the Pole drove a calm race while those around him lost their heads (Hamilton rammed Raikkonen in the pit lane and Alonso also crashed out) to lead home team-mate Nick Heidfeld to his, and the team’s, first Grand Prix win.
This replica will be different to the original release in that it will come with the specific Canadian Grand Prix aero package, which included, among other things, the removal of the nose-mounted ‘horns’ and also a revised rear wing profile. The model will be a limited edition and is due with us before the end of July.
