Saleen S7-R - 1st LMGT1 Le Mans 2010 - #50 1:43

Spark has released a 1:43 diecast model of the #50 Saleen S7-R which Roland Berville, Julien Canal and Gabriele Gardel drove to 1st in the LMGT1 class at Le Mans in 2010. Not many people would have thought that the Saleen S7-R would still be racing at Le Mans nine years after its debut, let alone be winning its class! The car may not have had outright speed, but it certainly did have reliability. While the Aston Martins, Ford GTs and Corvettes fell by the wayside, the Saleen, driven by Roland Berville, Julien Canal and Gabriele Gardel had a trouble free run to the chequered flag. This victory was made even more significant as this was the final year for the GT1 class at Le Mans.
