Minichamps has released a 1:43 diecast model of Lewis Hamilton's McLaren MP4-23 which he raced in the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix to claim the 2008 Formula One World Championship. This replica features the aero package that was on Hamilton's car, such as the horns on the nosecone. This replica also features wet tyres.

The next Minichamps 1:18 Lewis Hamilton release will be at the very beginning of August, and it will be of the car that will probably remain the most famous of his entire career.
It is the limited edition 1:18 replica of his McLaren MP4/23 from last year’s Brazilian Grand Prix, where he won the world championship on the last corner of the last lap of the last race!
The model will differ from the original release in that it will feature all the aerodynamic changes that were introduced to the MP4/23 during the 2008 season; most notably, the nose-mounted ‘horns’. It will also come with the wet tyres that Hamilton finished the race with.
As we went to press we had not been given a release date for the 1:43 version, which will also be a limited edition, but we are confident that it will not be too far behind the 1:18.
