This 'Great Escape' sweat top is a really cool piece! A totally accurate replica of the sweat worn by Steve McQueen in every scene of The Great Escape including, his ill-fated jump scene. It's authentic, right down to the rough-sewn sleeve ends that extend to around the elbows. This top features a very subtle print on the lower back, of the famous jump scene from The Great Escape. It's a great top for lounging around in, or playing sport. Or for digging escape tunnels in the garden!

In The Great Escape, there are many heroes and great performances but there can be little doubt as to who the star of the film was - Steve McQueen. And throughout the film, McQueen wore the same top in almost every scene; this petrol blue sweat top with cut down sleeves.
This top is a classic, instantly identifiable as the garment worn by McQueen in the film, and whilst we wouldn’t recommend it as a protective garment for motorcycle jumps, it’s definitely a cool piece for messing around in.
Of course, in many people’s eyes, a sweat is a garment to wear in the cooler months for keeping warm. But you should think of this as just a slightly heavyweight T-shirt for wearing when its mildish outside.
It’s just perfect for those days when a T-shirt isn’t quite enough and a fleece seems over the top. It’s also ideal for those times when the wife is driving you mad and you need to start digging an escape tunnel in the garden. Sizes: S, M, L, XL & XXL.
